The hotel experience was excellent. I was given an upgrade without asking. The room was everything I needed and expected. They really are dog friendly ( I have a 10 lb Dachshund). Next time I’m in Butte, I’ll look them up again.

The team at this location was amazing to work with! We made a reservation through one of the travel appts and it was a nightmare to make modifications to the reservations which they end up canceling our reservation and charging for one night. The team at Motel 6 was very accommodating and gracious! They issue a refund for the night wrongly charged and honored the rate previously received for my reservation. This made a world of difference as my husband travels a lot for work and the last thing he needs is to deal with this type of issue. Thank you Motel 6 team!

As someone who travels full time with dogs this is definitely the best deal in Butte ! AJ was extremely patient courteous and kind when I called to ask several questions about the property and rooms. Booked me into downstairs room as requested and held for me until I could arrive in 3 hours. The exterior isn't glamorous or new. Which isn't my priority. The room itself inside was far better than many other Motel 6 ive stayed at. Huge comfy king bed. Nice cotton sheets. 3 fluffy pillows. Slept awesome. Super hot water for shower with adjustable nozzle and good water pressure. Towels were fine. Had 2 tables, chairs, luggage holder, micro, fridge, nice tv. Nice setup. Heater worked really good. Like REALLY good. Even on 62 the room was toasty warm. In the morning there was fresh coffee in the office. And everyone i talked with there were also very friendly and nice to chat with. Only downside was location. Its a few blocks from the main area and was a little challenging to find. Was worth the detour ! Thanks everyone for a much needed peaceful break overnight. Will definitely stay there again next time im passing thru. Emi the traveling Pet Nanny

Added: single woman traveling alone, felt very safe. Normal services provided for an off season VERY AFFORDABLE motel. I am from Montana, I loved it. 5 stars because you can get TWO historic experiences for a very budget Price. Rooms aren’t perfect, the last upgrade was 2012 & it was only cosmetic. Tile was a mess & TV didn’t work but it clean and comfy and pet friendly with no upcharge. Historicness- 1) less obvious than the neighborhood, but LOOK AT THIS PLACE! This is pure 1960s joy architecture. And people chitchat in the dog area like it was 1966 or a campground lol. Butte closed the pit in the 80s, so 1966 was when it was still a mining boom town, & this will also be a very historic site someday 2) amazing neighborhood, you’ve got the Little kidnapping site, you can walk to the anaconda road massacre, the old Lexington park (like a fairyland!), the Con mine site, and all over uptown. The crimes happened in 1917, the neighborhood was quiet at night, even close to several bars, & northwest energy offices and parking fill in the rest of the block so there’s good security in the area. Do not expect a fancy hotel but do soak up all the atmosphere! Oh the map will show you are staying right next to the Berkeley pit. But you are so much higher up and the pit itself is thousands of yards away. There’s no risk, it’s just that the property is huge and the whole side of the hill is blocked off. There is no access from near the motel and no child or adult can get in. It is very secure. Do not worry at all. And no you cannot hear anything there, if you are concerned, even if they use loud scare tactics to chase off birds, you do not hear and you cannot see it. None of the bad things associated with the Pit can happen here.

This little hotel is cozy, quiet, and comfy. Pets allowed, multiple areas to empty your dogs, as well as gathering areas for smokers. The interior parking lot is secure and walled in so you can rest easy in this charming uptown Butte motel with amazing views of Butte’s extensive collection of mining infrastructure. The staff are dedicated, warm, and attentive to your needs. Match this with great rates and you’ll wonder why you stayed anywhere else.

I LOVE MOTEL 6! I LOVE SPENDING LESS MONEY FOR A MOTEL ROOM! We attended a music event which was really fun, and then we got a room. They even had these cute little dog bones, (I ate one because I was really hungry :].) They even had these cute birds that walk around in the morning. I think they are pigeons, but I couldn't quite tell. I wonder if they own them and let them be free range? Would stay again, great place!!!!!!!!!!!
